The Boxgirls youth intervention programme Sicher im Kiez! was awarded 4th place at the 2011 Berlin Sports Integration Prize ceremony. Among the 50 applicants, Sicher im Kiez! was voted one of the top 5 project ideas. Boxgirls received 1,000 Euro prize money for further Sicher im Kiez! activities at the "Sport im Olympiapark" Festival on September 10, 2011.
